SEVERE WEATHER ALERT NOW IN EFFECT

An area of disturbed weather associated with a cold front across the western Caribbean will influence weather conditions across the island over the next several days.
This will result in mostly cloudy conditions with periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms along with slightly cooler than normal temperatures.
Residents should exercise extreme caution due to rising waters and possible flash flooding especially over low lying and flood-prone areas of northern parishes.
