WATCHES AND WARNINGS

Tropical Storm moving over open waters, no threat to land.

At 11:00pm the centre of  Tropical Storm Franklin was located  near  latitude
40.5 degrees north  and longitude 51.8 degrees west  or about 435mi / 695km
south of Cape Race, Newfoundland.

Franklin is moving toward the east northeast near 26mph / 43km/h


Maximum sustained winds are near 40mph / 65km/h  with  higher gusts.

Tropical Storm Franklin is not a threat to land.

 

Tropical Storm Warning in effect for:

None. 

Tropical Storm Watch in effect for:

None.
